While this wine has light red flavors of Raspberry and cherry the added tobacco note gives the wine an interest that is special to Tempranillo. These grapes were first de-stemmed and then fermented in their own small vat at cellar temperature. The fermentation was completely native, and no chemical or acid additions were made to the wine (with the exception of sulfur). The wine was aged in once and twice-used French oak barrels for 19 months and bottled without fining or filtration.
