(2) 2016 Chardonnay - Tropical aromas of Tangerine and Pineapple segue into flavors of bright stone fruit and crisp lemon sorbet. The mineral notes compliment richer notes of light beeswax and freshly cut hay. Barrel fermented and aged for 19 months in neutral French oak barrels. Full malolactic fermentation, and bottled without fining or filtration.
(1) 2017 Chenin Blanc - Since this white varietal helped put Clarksburg on the map as a premier wine growing region, we made the decision to graft over a portion of our Chardonnay vineyard. Turns out, it loves being dry-farmed! Taste is crisp and refreshing, with notes of honey melon. Fermented in stainless steel, and transferred to neutral oak barrels for aging.
(1) 2018 Rosé - This light and fruity Rosé wine has a floral nose, with subtle layers pink Himalayan salt, zesty candy lemon, and sweet watermelon. Using some of our lighter-colored red wine grapes, we press the juice from the skins and then ferment in neutral French oak barrels. Following fermentation, it ages in those oak barrels for an additional 6 months before being bottled without fining.
